Lovely and fresh, cooked to order and not greesy. Great friendly service as well. Its easy to phone and order ahead, it's usually ready within half an hour. Its our only go-to fish and chip shop, always worth the drive to Wymondham

This chip shop was highly recommended by a dear friend (Jon Dennis from the boxing club) who we visit frequently from Oxfordshire. I expected the food to be delicious but it FAR exceeded my high expectations! The chips were so tasty, perfectly fried & the fish was exceptional. How do you make something as simple as fish & chips so magnificent?! You must use some kind of magic in your shop 🪄✨ Amazing value, a fish, sausage & chips cost half as much as we pay at home and was ten times the quality - thank you 🙏🏻

The best fish and chips in the country! The chips are fried in beef fat and you can taste the difference between these fish and chips and any other. The fish is always fresh and in a light , bubbly batter. Great portions. Friendly staff. Just amazing !

Couldn’t ask for better service within this wonderful fish and chip shop. The staff are brilliant and so friendly. The food is exceptional and really great value for money. We wouldn’t look to purchase fish and chips anywhere else as the standard to woodbines can not be matched! Great food, perfect portions sizes, excellent value for money and a wonderful friendly atmosphere within the lovely shop! Couldn’t ask for anything better!!

The best fish and chips we have had in recent memory, the good reviews here are very accurate. Fish is cooked to order and the batter was lovely and crisp and the fish we had was very tasty. As for the chips, well these were at least as good as you used to get on Gt Yarmouth Market many, many years ago and they were widely reckoned to be the best in the country back then. We will undoubtedly be back, the shop front is quirky and opening times are Wednesday to Saturday, so check to avoid disappointment.
